On June 21, the Huawei Developer Conference (HDC 2024), focusing on the latest technologies like HarmonyOS NEXT and the Pangu Large Model, grandly opened in Songshan Lake, Dongguan. As a top (diamond-level) sponsor and partner of this conference, iSoftStone showcased its full-stack digital technology products and services, the HarmonyOS Ecosystem, and the latest technologies, products, and solutions in the AI field. In addition, iSoftStone hosted an independent sub-forum on June 22, themed "Cloud Collaboration, Driving Intelligent Leap with New Quality Power".
During the keynote summit on the first day of the conference, Yu Chengdong, Huawei's Executive Director, Chairman of Device BG, and Chairman of Intelligent Automotive Solutions BU, revealed that the number of devices in the HarmonyOS ecosystem has surpassed 900 million, attracting over 2.54 million developers. He also announced that the pure HarmonyOS Beta upgrade is now open for developers and pioneer users, marking a milestone for the HarmonyOS ecosystem, which will officially go commercial in the fourth quarter. Zhang Ping'an, Huawei's Executive Director and CEO of Huawei Cloud, announced the official release of Pangu Large Model 5.0, which has been upgraded in all series, multi-modalities, and strong thinking capabilities.
Showcasing Multiple Native HarmonyOS Applications
As one of the first participants and contributors to the HarmonyOS ecosystem, and among the first service providers with both HarmonyOS terminal operating system development capabilities and end-to-end development and implementation capabilities for native HarmonyOS applications, iSoftStone has built a full-chain system around "operating system + hardware ecosystem + software ecosystem", anchored by native HarmonyOS applications, HarmonyOS meta services, and HarmonyOS Connect, fully covering HarmonyOS ecosystem.
At this conference, iSoftStone not only brought one-stop solutions for native HarmonyOS applications but also highlighted native HarmonyOS applications such as "S-TAG Health Hub", Tang Paradise, and Xband Club. Furthermore, iSoftStone's customized development services for HarmonyOS applications and meta services have been listed in the Huawei Cloud Store, making iSoftStone the first partner to launch co-branded HarmonyOS application products with Huawei Cloud Store.
Launching Multiple OpenHarmony Products
SwanLink, a pioneer in iSoftStone's open-source strategy, launched the SwanLinkOS operating system based on OpenHarmony, successfully building a full-stack SwanLink AI technology system that combines terminal and cloud to accelerate the implementation of OpenHarmony AI industry models.
At the Huawei OpenHarmony Industry Ecosystem booth and the OpenAtom Foundation OpenHarmony co-construction booth, SwanLink and Huawei showcased multiple innovative OpenHarmony products and solutions for fields such as mining, education, and energy (electricity), including intelligent service all-in-one machines, lane toll boxes, OpenHarmony education and training kits, and competition equipment, smart unhindered access solutions, and a unified smart coal mine equipment app, some of which were debuted in the industry for the first time.
Accelerating AI Implementation with Hardware-Software Collaboration
As a core strategic partner of Huawei Cloud and one of the first partners of the Huawei Cloud Pangu Large Model, iSoftStone plays multiple important roles in the GoCloud and GrowCloud cooperation systems, providing comprehensive and full-stack services to customers from hardware computing power foundations, model algorithm bases, to AI platform applications.
At the conference, iSoftStone showcased various joint solutions with Huawei Cloud, successful industry implementations, and software and hardware products in AI and data intelligence. For example, iSoftStone independently developed the Merak MaaS platform, AISE software engineering, and industry large models, launching an integrated training and inference platform that combines "hardware base + basic software + AI platform software", and the first AI workstation built with Ascend NPU, among other AI products. In addition, iSoftStone displayed numerous outstanding innovations in the basic software field, such as the SwanLinkOS based on OpenHarmony, the ISSEOS based on openEuler, and the ISSEDB based on openGauss, as well as the profound capabilities of the iSoftStone Computing sub-brand (Tongfang Computer) in the hardware field.
With its excellent cross-dimensional growth in "software-hardware integration", iSoftStone has become a typical "capability-based" partner of Huawei. In the future, iSoftStone will continue to collaborate closely with Huawei and many industry partners, deeply integrating software and hardware technologies, advancing products, solutions, and services towards industry-specific, scenario-based, and intelligent directions, and empowering the digital transformation of thousands of industries with multi-dimensional innovation power, thus moving towards a new era of intelligent connectivity of everything.
