On September 21, during the CWSN 2024, 18th China Internet of Things (Wireless sensor network) , Shanxi Jinyun Internet Technology Co., Ltd. hosted an "Industrial Internet Forum" in collaboration with the China Coal Technology & Engineering Group Chongqing Research Institute, Huawei, and iSoftStone. iSoftStone was invited to share innovative applications based on the coal industry’s industrial internet and mining large models.
The CWSN 2024, organized by the China Computer Federation, aims to provide a high-end forum for academic exchange and research development for IoT researchers, developers, enterprises, and users. It facilitates the sharing of achievements and experiences in IoT research and applications, promoting the development of IoT theory, technology, and industrial applications.
Wu Qing, Assistant Vice President of iSoftStone
Wu Qing, Assistant Vice President of iSoftStone, presented on "Innovative Applications Based on the Coal Industry's Industrial Internet—Advanced Process Control (APC) and Intelligent Diagnosis", sharing insights into the innovative applications of mining large models in the coal industrial internet. These applications provide innovative services to the coal industry's value chain, including coal equipment, mining, and sectors like power generation, cement, steel, non-ferrous metals, and coal chemical industries, empowering their digital transformation and upgrades.
The high-performance control system designed around the capabilities of the coal industrial internet, such as large models, computing power, and data. It can effectively address optimization control issues in industries such as thermal power, heating, cement, steel, and coal chemical processes, including boilers, rotary kilns, blast furnaces, converters, ammonia synthesis, and decomposition furnaces. This solution reduces fluctuations in controlled parameters, improves production stability, and lowers coal consumption, electricity usage, and carbon emissions.
Similarly, the intelligent diagnosis system built on these capabilities can effectively diagnose faults, predict the lifespan, and assess the degradation trends of large machinery such as motors, reducers, and gearboxes, thereby increasing equipment uptime and minimizing losses from unexpected failures.
At the recently concluded HUAWEI CONNECT 2024, iSoftStone hosted a sub-forum titled "Full-Stack Intelligence, Inspiring New Momentum for Industrial Development", where industry experts and business partners discussed the deep integration of AI with industrial manufacturing, as well as practical applications in manufacturing, photovoltaic energy, feed production, and the automotive sector. Looking ahead, iSoftStone will continue to deepen its focus on the industrial internet sector, collaborating closely with partners to jointly establish a new paradigm for industrial digitization.
