iSoftStone, Along with SWANLINK and iSoftStone Education, Successfully Co-hosted the First HarmonyOS Ecological Conference

November 23 · Shenzhen, China – At the inaugural HarmonyOS Ecological Conference, iSoftStone, together with its subsidiaries SWANLINK and iSoftStone Education, played a key role in supporting the event. As a governing unit of the Global Intelligent Internet of Things Alliance (GIIC) and a strategic partner of HarmonyOS Ecological Services (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd., iSoftStone actively participated in a range of major activities throughout the conference. During the event, iSoftStone not only collaborated with various industry leaders to further develop the HarmonyOS ecosystem but also contributed to the release of several key technical standards for unified interconnection across HarmonyOS-enabled devices. Additionally, iSoftStone shared valuable insights and practical experiences at multiple forums, offering innovative ideas that contributed to the ongoing development of the HarmonyOS ecosystem.

 

The conference was attended by prominent leaders, including Tao Yongxin, member of the Standing Committee of the Shenzhen Municipal Party Committee, and Li Xiaoning, Mayor of Nanshan District, Shenzhen. Huang Qiang, Director of Industry and Information Technology Bureau of the Shenzhen Municipality, delivered a speech highlighting Shenzhen's strong commitment to the development of the HarmonyOS ecosystem. Xu Zhijun, rotating chairman of Huawei, also shared his insights, offering a forward-looking perspective on the future of HarmonyOS.

 

Forging a Stronger HarmonyOS Ecosystem Through Collaboration

 

An open, inclusive, and stable ecosystem is crucial for driving technological innovation and industrial growth. Building such a thriving environment requires the active participation of a diverse range of partners. At the main forum of the conference, the GIIC and HarmonyOS Ecological Services (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd., in collaboration with leading companies in the HarmonyOS ecosystem, including iSoftStone and SWANLINK, jointly launched the initiative "Creating New Ecological Opportunities, Industrial Synergy, and Ecological Co-construction". This initiative aims to bring together collective expertise and promote the development of China’s information technology industry. Qin Zhangbo, SVP of iSoftStone and GM of SWANLINK, and Shi Rong, SVP of iSoftStone, were present to witness this significant moment in the ongoing evolution of HarmonyOS.

 

In addition, to foster the unification of OpenHarmony technical standards and accelerate the wide application and prosperity of the ecosystem, SWANLINK participated in the release of a series of technical standards for the unified interconnection of HarmonyOS devices. This move further energizes the HarmonyOS ecosystem, contributing to its continued expansion and success.

Construction Industry Sub-Forum

Shi Rong, SVP of iSoftStone

 

Under the theme "Building HarmonyOS with the Internet of Everything", Shi Rong, SVP of iSoftStone, shared the company's holistic approach to constructing the HarmonyOS Ecological Park. Focusing on OpenHarmony, he explained how the development of SwanLinkOS breaks down hardware barriers and integrates seamlessly into a full-scenario smart ecosystem. In the context of HarmonyOS, native applications and HarmonyOS Atomic services are leveraged to create an innovative, connected experience that enables true multi-device interoperability. By combining the strengths of both systems, iSoftStone has enabled the interconnection of park equipment, making it a reality. Through large-scale projects like the Wuxi (National) Software Park and Xiong’an Science and Technology Innovation Park, Shi Rong demonstrated iSoftStone’s leadership in integrating the Internet of Things with the HarmonyOS ecosystem in the construction industry. His presentation garnered widespread attention from experts at the event.

At the sub-forum, Wu Wanli shared insights on the application of SwanLinkOS 5 across various industry scenarios, presenting under the title "SwanLinkOS 5: Innovation in Interconnection". He highlighted how the SwanLinkOS seamlessly integrates features like interconnectivity and AI applications, providing essential support for the unified interconnection and efficient collaboration of devices in diverse environments. With successful implementations in cities, parks, education, and other sectors, the SwanLinkOS is emerging as a leading force in driving industry development.

 

Talent Development Sub-Forum

Tan Shuai, Chief Operating Officer of iSoftStone Education

 

As the leader of the Talent Development Group within the HarmonyOS Ecological Promotion Committee, Tan Shuai presented the work plan for the Talent Development Group under the GIIC. He provided a detailed overview of the structure and talent training strategies of the GIIC and the HarmonyOS Ecological Promotion Committee. Tan Shuai emphasized that, through international expansion, policy support, and the establishment of overseas branches, the HarmonyOS ecosystem is poised to reach new heights. He underscored that talent development is a critical factor in achieving this goal. To mark this important milestone, the forum also hosted a "Glorious Sailing Ceremony" for the first group of lecturers of the GIIC. Duan Wei, AVP of iSoftStone and GM of the SWANLINK MineHarmony Division, was honored as one of the first lecturers to receive this distinction.

Under the theme "OpenHarmony Industry-Education Integration and Talent Training Practice", Lian Zhian shared insights into the positive impact of SWANLINK’s Industry-Education Integration Solution on industrial talent development. He highlighted the significant contributions SWANLINK has made to the OpenHarmony ecosystem and talent cultivation by collaborating with iSoftStone Education and numerous colleges and universities. Lian Zhian emphasized how these partnerships have played a pivotal role in advancing the ecological construction and talent training initiatives within the OpenHarmony ecosystem.

 

Internet Industry Sub-forum

Xie Xiaowei presented on the topic "Embracing HarmonyOS's New Ecology and Opening a New Era of Intelligent IoT". He focused on several key "Internet of Things + HarmonyOS Ecosystem" projects developed by iSoftStone, including the "Zhikanghui APP" in collaboration with a prominent hospital in Beijing, the smart cultural tourism case at Tang Paradise, and the "Niu Zhi Cui" project that enables omni-channel retail. These projects not only showcase iSoftStone's technical expertise but also serve as valuable reference points for the broader industry’s development.
